From CEO-to-CEO
(From Chief Executive Officer to Chief Entertainment Officer)

Atul Khatri was a CEO of an IT Company for 25 years before he decided to try stand-up comedy as a hobby at the age of 44.
His midlife crises and the pressure from his wife to have something more to his life than just work, work, work pushed him to sign up for a comedy open mic, which he enjoyed thoroughly, turned successful and made him consider this as his career. At 48, he gave up his full-time CEO job and got into full time stand-up comedy.

While he was figuring out what to do with his life, he kept posting jokes on Facebook just as a comic-relief. There, he realised he has a sense of humour which people appreciate. He got positive feedback and a lot of support from his family and friends. So he took a New Year resolution & signed up for an ‘open mic’. He still remembers that night. His hands were sweating, his legs were shivering and his throat became dry but he managed to win that 4-minute slot. Yay! That experience was so enriching and addictive; after that he just went on and on and on.
